Choose where to focus and lock focus and exposure.

In shortTap anywhere to focus there. Press and hold to lock focus and exposure so they do not shift while you move or something passes through the frame. On the front camera, focus is designed to keep adjusting after your tap.

Status: in development and being tested. Planned for every plan, starting with Average. Music Wide Selfie is an iPhone camera app in development and not yet released. Features vary by iPhone model and iOS version.

How it is designed to work

Good for

Talking-head videos where your face must stay sharp, and product shots.

Tips

  • Tap on the eyes or the thing you care about, then lock focus if the shot will not change.
  • Lock exposure when you walk between light and shade so the picture does not pump.
