In shortRemote Director is designed to let you use a second device to run the shoot while your iPhone films you. You would see the framing, start and stop recording, run a countdown and change key settings without walking back to the phone. Which devices will work, and how they connect, is still being decided.
Status: built, still being tested on real devices. Not released yet. Planned for Crown only. Music Wide Selfie is an iPhone camera app in development and not yet released. Features vary by iPhone model and iOS version.
How it is designed to work
- See the live framing on a second screen
- Start, stop and count down from a distance
- Control the teleprompter and add markers remotely

Good for
Solo shooters, tripod setups and full-body video.
Tips
- Put the filming iPhone on a stand so it stays still.
- Check that both devices are connected before you start.
