Compatibility
Which iPhones will it work on?
Short answerThe plan is to support a wide range of iPhones, from iOS 15 upward, and to adapt to each phone. The final minimum iOS version will be confirmed before release.
Why it depends on your phone
Your iOS version isn’t the only thing that matters. Each iPhone has different cameras. An older phone on new software still can’t use hardware it doesn’t have, so Music Wide Selfie checks what your actual phone supports and only shows those features.
| Feature | When it appears |
|---|---|
| Core photo and video, focus, countdowns, saving to Photos | Planned for as many supported iPhones as possible |
| Wide Selfie | Only when your iPhone really has a wider front-camera mode |
| Dual Camera | Only on iPhones whose hardware supports recording two cameras at once; older supported phones may use lower quality |
| Screen Recording, Screen + Face | The method depends on your iOS version |
| Newest-iPhone features | Hidden on phones and iOS versions that can’t run them |
Music Wide Selfie is an iPhone camera app in development and not yet released. Features vary by iPhone model and iOS version.
